SOBRE ESTA VAKI

Todos tenemos un maestro que nos cambió la vida, alguien que supo inspirarnos y ayudarnos a desarrollar todo nuestro potencial a pesar de las dificultades. Hoy en día, cientos de maestros en América Latina están trabajando para inspirar y crear oportunidades para miles de niños en la región, algunos de ellos en comunidades donde sus estudiantes se desmayan por no haber comido o en zonas de conflicto donde deben soportar el azote de grupos armados. 

La mayoría de los maestros que están en escuelas públicas y rurales no tiene el apoyo y la formación necesaria para enfrentar las situaciones de conflicto y adversidad en las que deben trabajar y con tu aporte, tú puedes cambiar esta realidad y darle una oportunidad de formación y acompañamiento a 50 maestros para que cientos de niños puedan tener un maestro inspirador que cambie su vida.

¿QUIÉNES SOMOS Y QUÉ ESPERAMOS LOGRAR?

Entre el 11 y el 13 de febrero de 2019 se llevará a cabo en Bogotá el 2do. Encuentro Latinoamericano de Educación Transformadora, un espacio de formación para educadores que espera darles herramientas para generar entornos de aprendizaje innovadores para superar condiciones adversas. Utilizando la colaboración y el desarrollo del carácter como herramientas para desarrollar el potencial de niños y jóvenes. 

Este año, los organizadores del encuentro que incluyen el Gimnasio Moderno, el Colegio Tilatá, el Colegio Los Nogales, el Colegio Santa Francisca la Romana, el Colegio Ekirayá, la U.E.D Aquileo Parra, el Gimnasio Santander, el CESA, el Taller de Aprendizaje para las Artes y el Pensamiento, OpEPA, Coschool, Recojo y Ashoka, consideramos que es fundamental promover la participación de maestros y rectores de escuelas públicas y rurales, especialmente aquellos que están trabajando en localidades donde la pobreza y la violencia hacen mucho más retadora su labor como educadores.

¿CÓMO PUEDES PARTICIPAR?

Queremos lograr que 50 educadores que dedican su vida a proteger, acompañar y formar a miles de niños en situación de vulnerabilidad puedan hacerlo contando con las herramientas y el apoyo que necesitan y tú apoyo es fundamental para ello. Con tu aporte podremos becar a estos maestros para que participen en el 2do. Encuentro de Educación Transformadora y comiencen a formar parte de esta red que está transformando la educación en América Latina. 

Los profesores que gracias a tú aporte reciban una beca, tendrán los recursos necesarios para venir a Bogotá, participar en el encuentro y luego volver a sus regiones formando parte de una red en la que podrán compartir sus experiencias con otras escuelas innovadoras de la región y en la que un grupo de especialistas estará disponible para apoyarlos y asesorarlos de forma remota.

ABOUT THIS VAKI

We all have a teacher who changed our lives, someone who knew how to inspire us and help us develop our full potential despite the difficulties. Today, hundreds of teachers in Latin America are working to encourage and create opportunities for thousands of children in the region, some of them in communities where their students are discouraged because they have not eaten or in conflict zones where they must endure the scourge of armed groups.

Most of the teachers who are in public and rural schools do not have the support and training necessary to face the situations of conflict and adversity in which they must work.  With your contribution, you can change this reality and give them a training opportunity and Accompanying 50 teachers so that hundreds of children can have an inspiring teacher to improve their lives.

WHO ARE WE AND WHAT ARE WE EXPECTING TO ACHIEVE?

Between February 11 and 13, 2019, the 2nd Changemaker Education Summit will take place in Bogotá, a training space for educators that hopes to give them tools to generate innovative learning environments to overcome adverse conditions. This year, the organizers of the meeting that include the Modern Gymnasium, the Tilatá School, the Los Nogales School, the Santa Francisca la Romana School, the Ekirayá School, the Aquileo Parra UED, the Santander Gymnasium, the CESA, the Learning Workshop for Arts and Thought, OpEPA, Coschool, Recojo and Ashoka; believe it is fundamental to promote the participation of teachers and principals of public and rural schools, especially those who are working in places where poverty and violence make their work much more challenging as educators.

HOW CAN YOU PARTICIPATE?

We want to ensure that 50 educators who dedicate their lives to protect, accompany and train thousands of children in vulnerable situations can do so with the tools and support they need and your help is essential for this. With your contribution, we will be able to grant scholarships to these teachers to participate in the 2nd Transformative Education Meeting and begin to be part of this network that is transforming education in Latin America.

Teachers who, thanks to your contribution, receive a scholarship, will have the necessary resources to come to Bogotá, participate in the meeting and then return to their regions forming part of a network in which, they can share their experiences with other innovative schools in the district and in which a group of specialists will be available to support and advise them remotely.
