My Story

I'm Ana and I am halfway through my Master’s in Public Health, a dream I’ve worked so hard to achieve. Unfortunately, I’ve reached a point where I can no longer afford to continue my studies on my own.

Last year was incredibly difficult for me and my partner. He was unemployed, my work opportunities kept shrinking, and we even had to rely on credit cards just to eat. Things have improved—we both have jobs now—but we are still recovering, and my current income is very limited.

That is why I am reaching out here: I need to raise $2,000 USD to pay for the upcoming semester, due by September 4th. If I can raise a little more, I will start saving for another important goal: traveling back to Spain, my home country, which I haven’t been able to visit in 16 years. My godmother, who is like a mother to me, is elderly now, and I deeply wish to see her before it’s too late.

Your support would mean the world to me. Every contribution, no matter the amount, brings me one step closer to finishing my degree and to reconnecting with the only family I have left nearby.

Mi Historia

¡Hola! Mi nombre es Ana y estoy a mitad de mi Maestría en Salud Pública, un sueño por el que he trabajado con muchísimo esfuerzo. Sin embargo, he llegado a un punto en el que ya no puedo costear por mí misma la continuidad de mis estudios.

El año pasado fue especialmente duro para mi pareja y para mí. Él estaba desempleado, a mí cada mes me llegaba menos trabajo y llegamos a usar tarjetas de crédito para poder comer. Hoy en día los dos tenemos empleo, pero seguimos recuperándonos y mi sueldo actual es muy limitado.

Por eso recurro a esta campaña: necesito reunir 2.000 dólares para pagar el próximo semestre, cuyo plazo vence el 4 de septiembre. Y si logro un poco más, lo destinaré a empezar a ahorrar para otro objetivo muy importante: viajar a España, mi país, al que no he podido regresar en 16 años. Allí vive mi madrina, que es como una madre para mí, y deseo verla pronto porque ya es mayor.

Tu apoyo significaría muchísimo para mí. Cada aporte, por pequeño que sea, me acerca un paso más a terminar mi maestría y a reencontrarme con la única familia cercana que me queda.

Si lo prefieres, también estaré encantada de retribuir con mi trabajo. Puedo ofrecer:

• Clases de inglés o español como segunda lengua

• Clases de piano, canto o lectura musical

Esto no es solo financiar una educación: es mantener vivo un sueño por el que he luchado durante años, y construir un futuro en el que pueda usar mis conocimientos para ayudar a los demás.
