Lo que queremos lograr:

Necesitamos reparar y comprar instrumentos de cuerda frotada (violines, violas, cellos y contrabajos) para fortalecer y ampliar la labor de nuestra Escuela de Música ubicada en la vereda Tierradentro, Municipio de Bello, Colombia.

¿Por qué lo queremos hacer?

La vereda Tierradentro del Municipio de Bello, Colombia, carece de programas de intervención cultural, dada la poca presencia del estado, la violencia que va en aumento y que se ha apoderado del Municipio.

En esta vereda y en la mayoría de barrios de Bello, abundan los niños y jóvenes. Asimismo abunda la delincuencia, el consumo de drogas, los embarazos a temprana edad y en ocasiones los casos de prostitución.

Los niveles de pobreza de las comunidades, así como la falta de propuestas educativas adicionales a las ofrecidas por el gobierno y opciones de formación cultural consistentes en el sector, hacen de este panorama el cultivo perfecto para que los niños y jóvenes sean reclutados para ejercer actividades delictivas o sean llevados a desarrollar otros oficios que apagan sus sueños, talentos y potencial para cambiar la realidad en la que viven.

¿Cómo lo hacemos?

Por medio del trabajo con la música empoderamos a niños y jóvenes para convertirse en seres de gran calidad humana capaces de construir el mundo con la propia fuerza de su convicción.

¿A quiénes beneficiamos?

Niños, niñas y jóvenes entre los 6 y 25 años aproximadamente, que viven en la vereda Tierradentro o alrededores, se trata de un sector urbano y a la vez rural del Municipio de Bello, Colombia, en el que habitan comunidades en alto riesgo social.

El impacto que lograremos:

Los aportes económicos recaudados permitirán que al largo plazo los sectores en los que intervendremos estén poblados por niños y jóvenes empoderados, seguros de sí mismos, portadores de una gran calidad humana que inspire a las nuevas generaciones desde diferentes profesiones y proyectos de vida.

Los niños y jóvenes, sin distinción alguna, son merecedores de programas culturales y educativos de calidad que les brinden herramientas útiles para desenvolverse positivamente en sus entornos familiares, académicos y/o laborales. What we want to achieve:

We need to repair and buy new string instruments (violins, violas, cellos and double basses) to strength and expand the work we do through our music school located in a small village called Tierradentro that is part of the Municipality of Bello, Colombia.

About us:

We are a non-profit organization, which created the program called Red de Escuelas de Música de Medellín, a music school network, located in 26 neighborhoods of Medellín. Amadeus created also the first Children's and Youth Symphony Orchestra of Medellin, among other cultural programs with a great social impact, which consolidate an experience of more than 30 years in Colombia. The reason why we want to do it:

The village Tierradentro of the Municipality of Bello, Colombia, has a lack of cultural intervention programs, given the little presence of the state, the violence that is increasing and that has taken over the Municipality.

In this village and in most neighborhoods of Bello, children and young people abound. There is also abundance of crime, drug use, early pregnancy and sometimes cases of prostitution.

The poverty levels of the communities, as well as the lack of additional educational programs offered by the government and consistent cultural formation options, make this scenario the perfect yield for children and young people to be recruited to be part of criminal activities or be led to develop other occupations that extinguish their dreams, talents and potential to change the reality in which they live.

How do we do it?

Through the work with music we empower children and young people to become great human beings capable of building the world with the strength of their conviction.

Who do we benefit from?

Children and youngsters between the ages of 6 and 25 (aprox.), who live in the village of Tierradentro or surroundings. This is an urban and rural sector of the Municipality of Bello, Colombia, in which communities live at high social risk.

The impact we will achieve:

The collected donations will allow in the long term that the neighborhoods where we work, can be filled by children and youngsters with a great human quality, empowered and confident of themselves, so they can inspire the new generations from different professions and life projects.
