Querida familia y amigos,

Actualmente estoy trabajando en regresar a mi ciudad natal en Colombia 🇨🇴 debido a diversas razones. Sin embargo, no he podido realizar este traslado fácilmente, y la falta de fondos y recursos ha convertido este sueño en algo casi imposible.

He estado deseando estar más cerca de mi familia, especialmente de mi madre, quien recientemente se mudó a una comunidad asistida para ancianos debido a sus progresivos desafíos de salud y la necesidad de cuidados las 24 horas. Ahora, mi familia me necesita, y yo necesito estar en un entorno más estable y solidario (que el que tengo actualmente).

Con humildad , me estoy dirigiendo a la comunidad para hacer posible esta mudanza y reubicación extremadamente importante. Los fondos recolectados están destinados a cubrir mis costos y cerrar mi hogar de la última década, hasta que logre subirme a ese avión (no he podido ver a mi madre desde 2015 y el tiempo apremia), costos de trámites, pasaporte, equipaje, gastos médicos y veterinarios.

Tengo la esperanza de que todo lo demás se resolverá una vez que esté reunida con "mi gente" y en una posición más estable para enfrentar cualquier desafío, incluyendo mi propia salud.

Aprecio profundamente cualquier ayuda y apoyo que puedas brindar para que esta reunión familiar sea posible, y estoy extremadamente agradecida por tu empatía y compasión.

Dear family and friends,

I am currently working on moving back to my hometown in Colombia 🇨🇴, due to a variety of reasons. However, I have not been able to make this move easily and lacking the funds and resources needed has made it hard, almost an impossible dream.

I've been wishing to be closer to my family, particularly my mother who has just moved to an assisted living community due to her increasing health challenges and need of 24/7 care. Now my family needs me and my help as well as I need to be in a more stable and supportive environment (than what I have now).

Humbly, I am reaching out to the community to make this extremely important move and relocation possible. 

Funds collected are meant to be used to pay for my costs of living and closing my home for the last decade, while I am able to get on that plane (I have been unable to see my mom since 2015 and time is of the essence), paperwork costs, medical and veterinary expenses. 

I am hopeful that everything else will fall into place once I am reunited with "mi gente" and in a more stable position to deal with my own health challenges.

I deeply appreciate any help and support that you are able to gift to make this family reunion happen, and am extremely grateful for your empathy and compassion.
