Historia

Ever since I was a child, water has always called me. In my swimming classes I realized that in the water I felt free, that in the water I flew. On October 27, 2001, at the Departmental Children's Swimming Festival in the city of Buga, I got my first gold medal at the age of 10. Today, 20 years later, I am very close to achieving my life's dream: to become the first Colombian to achieve the Swimming Triple Crown, and I need your help to achieve it.

In 2017 I discovered the water beyond the pool. I started training and competing in lakes, rivers and seas and my passion for open waters emerged.

I have raised the name of my country on several occasions. It has not been easy.

Being an athlete in Colombia is a very lonely dream. We receive little without some kind of support from the government and it is up to us to collect the funds to fulfill our dreams and represent our country in great sporting arenas.

In Colombia we got used to the fact that athletes do not have a political voice, but before being an athlete I am a citizen. For raising my voice in the face of what was happening in Colombia in 2019, I lost sponsors and sports support and they beat me and threatened me with death, forcing me to leave the country. I have been away from my loved ones for a year. But even now, in the difficult circumstances in which I find myself, I continue to dream with more energy than ever and I want to invite you to dream with me. With your contribution I will be able to cover the expenses of my swimming challenges and become the first Colombian to achieve the Triple Crown of Swimming.
