Guanacaste ranks second for the most violence against women out of all the regions in the country. And this year, in 2021, in just over a month, our province reached the average number of femicides for the last four years (2017-2020).

To The Voice of Guanacaste, covering the province's reality from a gender perspective and offering high-quality information that allows us to have valuable conversations is key and, in some cases, even saves lives. We want to join forces with our community to reflect on the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women and publish our fourth #25N issue. Are you in? With your support, we’ll be able to investigate and produce a high-quality, informative special edition that is useful and relevant.

Thank you for supporting us. Thank you for supporting Guanacaste. Any amount, no matter how small it may seem, helps us a lot.
